San Francisco – November 13, 2020. Silverberry Genomix, a leading company in digital health based in San Francisco, announced the release of the Corona Expert app, in partnership with Dana-Farber Research Insititute, an affiliated hospital of Harvard Medical School.
“We have been living in the pandemic for close to 10 months now. Nothing is more critical than having access to the correct medical information to keep the public informed with a trusted source of information”, said Navid Madani, A Sr. Scientist at Dana Farber Institute and Director of SHE Center.
The first version of the app includes three components: FAQ, Articles, and Fact Check. By answering the most frequent questions about the disease, users can easily find short answers to the questions they might have. The Fact Check component, enables users to test their knowledge about the virus and the disease through gamification and a Trivia-Style experience. In addition to educational components, users may participate in a genomic study to better understand and respond to the current pandemic and future similar events.
